The last train
Shortly before midnight, Tom paused on the platform as the last train arrived. Empty spaces, flickering lights, and a solitary figure created a quiet, almost cinematic scene.

The train station was unusually empty as Tom waited for the last train late one evening in Berlin. The fluorescent lights flickered slightly, the concrete seemed cold and still. It was one of those places that are loud and anonymous during the day, but develop a unique stillness at night. Tom observed the platform, the emptiness, the small movements at the edges. A lone person stood waiting, far away, almost lost in the space. When the train pulled in and the light briefly changed the scene, a moment of tension and reserve arose. This image represents farewells, transitions, and the quiet moments that only become visible at night.
